CRAWLEY, England — Express Hand Car Wash has been asked to leave its site after the town council granted a change of use to allow another business to occupy the location, according to Crawleynews.co.uk.
The wash has used the land for the past seven years, noted the article. The manager, Karzan Majid, says he has been given one month to vacate.
Majid claims in the article the landlord has always kept the lease on a month-to-month basis. The next tenant has agreed to make improvements to the property.

Around 150 customers use the wash every week, reported the article. Majid is concerned there is nowhere to move his business.
"I don't want to lose this place," said Majid in the article. "If the landlord would sell the land I would buy it from him. It's not easy to build a business up. It's not right he can come in and say that after a month we have to move out."
