DAYTON, OH — Quackers, a massive inflatable duck, was stolen from the front of a carwash last weekend, according to the DaytonBizBlog.
The Aug 21 story stated that the duck is used by URS, a non-profit charity, for fundraising events. The 12-foot duck was taken from the property of Butler Auto Bath.
URS provides services for disabled children and their families, and the organization said the duck is valued at $2,000. It also was slated for an appearance at the Rubber Duck Regatta in September.
The charity asked the public for help locating Quackers, and described the blowup as a yellow duck with a red bill and black sunglasses.
