FREDERICKSBURG, VA — A carwash was purchased by local real estate investors here, according to Fredericksburg.com.
The Aug. 21 story stated that Mark Doherty and Jeremy McCommons who own Foundation Companies and MacDoc Realty bought the business for $1.1 million.
The pair submitted the winning bid during an afternoon auction last week. About 30 people attended the auction for the 3,000-square-foot building, and 10 bids were placed.
McCommons said in the story that the company is still deciding whether to run the carwash itself or to find an operator.
