Kwik Trip plans put on hold

SAUKVILLE, WI ― Plans for Kwik Trip were pulled from last week's plan commission agenda, the PortWashington-SaukvillePatch reported.

The Feb. 14 story said plans for the gas station and convenience store were rejected last month due to environmental concerns. Back in 2011, plans for a 2,800-square-foot carwash were submitted and it was Kwik Trip officials who asks that those plans be tabled for now following the rejection of the convenience store and gas station plans.

Hans Zietlow, director of real estate for Kwik Trip, said that while they are disappointed with the village's rejection, they are still determined to put up a Kwik Trip on the property.
