MEDINA, N.Y. — The Arc of Orleans vocational department has a detailing shop at a Citgo station in Medina, according to TheDailyNewsOnline.com.
The problem isn’t the quality of the service, notes the article, but awareness about it. “People in the area still don’t know we are here, in spite of the fact we moved in 1998,” said Sharyl Thomas, direct support professional at The Arc’s vocational department.

Longtime customer Valerie Riemer has been getting her vehicle detailed at The Arc’s shop for years. “I think it’s awesome,” Riemer said. “They do a fantastic job. The workers are friendly and go about their work. It’s a great way for me to help out and they in turn help me by providing me with a nice clean car.”
Business hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
