MURFREESBORO, TN — A loaded handgun was found on the ground at the Jones Car Wash here, a dnj.com story reported.
The Nov. 4 story said the gun, a 9 mm Smith & Wesson handgun, was found by the owner and an employee on Halloween.
The owner fired the gun by accident to see if the safety was on, the story reported.
Police confiscated the weapon, and, according to the story, it has not been reported missing or stolen.
