LIMA, Ohio — The Lima News Real Wheels Cruise-In was recently held in Lima, according to the Lima News.
The event was sponsored by 4 Seasons Car Wash, Auto Zone, Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships and Superior Federal Union, the article stated.
“The weather was very cooperative and made it a success,” said Bill Clinger, the event organizer. “We had it at a new location (Tom Ahl’s on Allentown Road) and we moved the time up to 11 a.m., I think the changes helped.”
This year’s Lima News Real Wheels Cruise-In welcomed 163 cars, continued the article, which is the largest amount of vehicles the 15-year-old event has ever featured.
“We have a lot of fun,” said Linda Nuveman, owner of a 1962 Corvette with only 55,000 miles and all of its original parts, in the article.
At the event, the owners of the vehicles can network and check out all the automobiles featured, reported the article, and Tom Ahl’s dealerships gave out free hot dogs.
Door prizes were also given away throughout the event, the article noted.
“It was really busy, and we have to thank the sponsors for helping make it a success,” stated Clinger in the article.
