CANTON, Ohio — Canton City Car Wash plans to rebuild after it was destroyed in a fire on June 1, according to hometownlife.com.
"That place has been all my hard work for the last six years,” said Sammy Alnasir, general manager of the wash, in the article. “I'm not going to let a fire bring me down.”
The flames started somewhere in the attic, stated the article, however Joshua Meier, fire chief, reported that investigators haven’t been able to determine the exact cause of the fire.
Investigators feel the fire, which started around 5:30 p.m. and quickly spread throughout the facility, does not appear to be suspicious, continued the article.
The carwash hopes to reopen this year, noted the article.
"We're still Canton strong. We've always been blessed," stated Alnasir in the article. "We're hoping to be open by the fall."
