CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — A 28-year-old man was shot in the back while washing his black 2009 Ford F-150 on a Friday night, m.caller.com reported.
Police said that the carwash customer was quickly approached by a man after he finished washing his truck, and the man tried to take the vehicle. The thief pulled out a gun and shot the truck owner when he resisted.

The Sept. 30 story stated that the truck owner told police that the assailant was a 20-year-old Hispanic man, 5-foot 9-inches tall, with short dark hair and tattoos. After he shot the customer, the thief and two other men sped away in a green Ford Explorer.
