BATH, PA — Jeffrey M. Ecklof, 28, was found sleeping behind the wheel of a parked Honda at a Bath carwash on Sept. 2 at 4:22 p.m., The Express-Times reported.
The Sept. 16 story stated that, according to police, a bottle of vodka was found opened in his vehicle.
Colonial Regional police found Ecklof at the carwash, located at 300 Block of Walnut Street in Bath, after being notified by another driver’s report of a Honda “all over the road.”
Ecklof was then transported to Bethlehem DUI center for a blood-alcohol test. According to police, Ecklof’s blood-alcohol content was a staggering 0.26.
Charges of driving under the influence and having an open container in a vehicle will be filed with District Judge John Capobianco.
