LYNNWOOD, Wash. — According to www.q13fox.com, two suspects still on the loose stunned and robbed a man at the Brown Bear Car Wash on 164th St. in Lynnwood, Washington.
Surveillance video shows that the suspects pulled into the self-serve carwash around 1:30 a.m. on Aug. 5th and exited a red PT Cruiser, the article continued.
Detectives said they changed clothes, went to the next stall and shot a man in the neck with a stun gun before robbing him, the article noted.
Detectives said they changed clothes again and fled, the article added.
“Given the location of this crime and the nature of it, it’s pretty violent. We want to identify these two suspects as soon as possible. This is pretty alarming,” said Shari Ireton with The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
The victim is in serious condition but is recovering, the article stated.
Detectives said it was unclear whether the suspects knew the victim, the article concluded.
UPDATE: According to www.haroldnet.com, the victim’s injuries were life-threatening and left him quadriplegic.
The alleged shooter and getaway driver were taken into custody a few weeks after the incident.
