INDIANAPOLIS — The Mike’s Carwash chain, with the help of customers in Indiana and Ohio, will donate $92,300 to Big Brothers Big Sisters, according to a press release.
The Aug. 24 release stated that the money was raised during the Mike’s Mentors Kids fundraiser. Half of the proceeds from every Works wash bought on Aug. 18 were donated to the charity.
Mike’s donations will help offset the cost of programming for one-to-one youth mentoring in the communities where the fundraiser was held.
“We couldn’t be more proud to partner with such an outstanding organization, and happy to support their mission to bring positive change to children facing adversity. We’re very grateful to our customers who helped make it happen,” Mike’s CEO Bill Dahm said in the release.
