INDIANAPOLIS ― This Saturday, Mike’s Carwash will donate half of its proceeds from its "Works" carwashes to Big Brothers Big Sisters during its 4th Annual “Mike’s Mentors Kids” event, a press release reported.
The Aug. 10 story said "The Works" retails for $15. Last year, the chain donated $65,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters from the same one-day event.
Bill Dahm, CEO of Mike's, said in the press release, “It’s been proven that a good mentor can bring positive change to a child’s life. Big Brothers Big Sisters does a great job of providing one-on-one mentoring, but there are children on their waiting list that need to be matched. We are offering a chance for our customers do a little something that will have a big impact.”
