TUSCON, AZ — Mister Car Wash is converting a 1950’s church into its new corporate headquarters.
“The big picture for us is, to attract top talent we knew we needed to be where the action is,” Mister Car Wash CEO John Lai said in the Arizona Daily Star story. “(But) we didn’t want to be in the heart of downtown with the parking issues, and we didn’t want to be in a high-rise.”
Building permits to convert the church have yet to be approved but the developer hopes to begin working on the project in November.
President of the West University Neighborhood Association said he is happy to see the building reused.
