Mister moves closer to 100 with TX locations

TUCSON, AZ — The additions bring Mister’s carwash total to 99 with 28 locations added so far in 2012.

TUCSON, AZ — Mister Car Wash here announced the recent acquisition of six XStream Auto Clean carwashes in Lubbock and Abilene, TX, according to a press release.

The Nov. 14 release stated that the transaction was finalized on Nov. 13. The addition brings Mister’s carwash total to 99, and the company has acquired 28 locations so far in 2012.

Mister carwash adds location number 93

“We’re very excited to expand our presence in Texas. The XStream Auto Clean group built a strong and loyal following and we can't wait to build upon this solid foundation” Ron Peterson, CEO of Mister Car Wash and Lube Centers, said in the release. “We’re continuously seeking additional multi-unit conveyor carwash opportunities to help fuel our growth.”

Mister currently has operations in 10 states with over 3,500 employees, and the company services over 9.5 million vehicles annually.
