SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Hamptons Mobile Auto Detailing and Car Wash debuts the "Detailing for Disaster Relief Campaign" to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy, according to the SouthamptonPatch.

The Nov. 29 story said the relief campaign, which will benefit the American Red Cross, will donate half of the profits from every detail service between the months of November and February.

The business's owner, Robert Brandt, said in the story, "Every time we detail your vehicle, you are donating to the effort. We encourage businesses and consumers to work together like this, where companies promote charitable causes and customers recognize the good they can do by supporting them. …We must all remind ourselves that it could have been us who were displaced, lost everything and needing the relief that is provided by The American Red Cross and its wonderful volunteers,” he said.
