FOUNTAIN GREEN, Md.— A new carwash will go up on Route 22, according to The Baltimore Sun.
The carwash will feature a 3,528-square-foot building and will be attached to a 1,500-square-foot retail building.
The story reported that the carwash plans did not "meet the county's requirement for a traffic study," according to Lou Schaffer, a planner with Frederick Ward Associates.

Schaffer said for a study to be done, the project would require 249 vehicle trips a day, and the wash will generate around 188 a day.
The site would have 20 parking spaces, as required by county law. The area, according to the story, is zoned for medium-density businesses.
