CHICAGO — In the latest research release from International Carwash Association, the new study on “Water Use, Evaporation and Carryout in Professional Car Washes” is now available for download, according to a press release.
A comprehensive study is available, as well as individual versions broken out for in-bays and conveyors, the release continued.
This study was performed for the purpose of providing a current look at water use, evaporation and carryout, and the use of reclaimed water in professional vehicle washes, the release added.
Since the first ICA field study in 2002, carwash technology has improved water efficiency in an effort to provide financial benefits to the carwash owner/operator, assisted in meeting regulatory requirements and has allowed the industry to improve its environmental profile, the article added.
