Detailing website to form advisory panel
Thursday, October 03, 2002
LOS ANGELES — Detailpros.com announced it will form an advisory panel to improve its relationship with the detailing industry and open the lines of communication between those who provide a service and those who use it.

The choice to create the panel was made after research determined that having the expertise and experience of the advisory panel when analyzing the content of the site would provide assurance that valuable information is presented, the company said in a news release.

Additionally, the open lines of communication will allow the Detailpros.com site to address issues and topics that are at the forefront of the vehicle care industry even faster.

"I think it's also a great opportunity for those experienced professionals to share their knowledge and skills with consumers and beginners in the vehicle care industry," said company Vice President Brian Fillmore.

He said the responsibility of the panel will be to advise the research department with the validity of the information presented on the website and how it is presented. They would also take part in key functions which would directly affect the course of the website.

Detailpros.com wants to gather experts from each segment of the industry – auto detailing, windshield and glass repair, window tinting, paint and body, and special vehicle care, Fillmore said.

"Having a specialist from each segment of the industry gives the Detailpros.com website the ability to cover any possible topic and be assured that the information that is presented is of the highest quality," he said.
