ProWash adds three carwashes in Northern CA
Thursday, August 21, 2008

SAN FRANCISCO — ProWash Consulting, a carwash consulting company that also operates carwashes, has acquired Hutch’s Car Wash and Quick Lube, a portfolio of four family-owned properties that includes three carwashes and a quick lube, according to a company press release.

The Aug. 5 release said Paul Dadgar, a 20 year veteran of the carwash industry and ProWash consultant, represented both the Buyer and Seller in the off-market transaction.

According to the release, Dadgar has a history in the carwash industry that includes finance, development, mergers and acquisitions and ownership of both full service and exterior express carwashes throughout California.

The assets are situated in the San Francisco Bay area and are separate operating business, family-owned for two generations. They are:

Hutch’s Car Wash, 1367 A Street, Hayward, CA

Hutch’s Quick Lube, 1360 B Street, Hayward, CA

Hutch’s Self-Serve Car Wash, 494 Rousseau Street, Hayward, CA

Hutch’s Car Wash, 17945 Hesperian Boulevard, San Lorenzo, CA

These acquisitions, along with current ownership of Wilshire West Car Wash and Quick Lube in Santa Monica, CA, and La Quinta Car Wash, in La Quinta, CA, bring the total number of businesses in Pro Wash’s portfolio to six.

According to the company, ProWash Consulting, LLC, was most recently selected by Procter and Gamble to help usher Mr. Clean Performance Carwashes into the industry.
