OCALA, FL — Cactus Car Wash, a franchising chain of six conveyor locations based in Atlanta, GA, has opened its first Florida location with plans to open a second this summer, according to a press release.

The April 8 release said the newest Cactus wash features a Southwestern-themed lounge area with a gourmet coffee bar, hi-definition televisions, free internet access and free telephone (VoIP) service for calls anywhere in North America.

Cactus will hold a grand opening for the Ocala, FL, location this Saturday, April 11, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The event will include prizes, discounted services and lunch provided by Ipanema Steakhouse.

Additionally, Cactus will run cross promotions with sister company, Compass Health & Fitness located nearby.

The first Cactus Car Wash opened in 1996, according to the company’s website, and there are plans to open the chain’s eighth and ninth locations this summer.
