INDIANAPOLIS — Standard Change-Makers, Inc., a manufacturer of currency change machines, will close its Regional Service Support Centers in Aston, PA, and Santa Fe Springs, CA, this August 29, and its St. Laurent, Canada, office on Sept. 18.
The July 31 release said the company’s Indianapolis, IN, facility will be expanding in size in order to handle all U.S. service phone support, as well as parts orders and repairs.
Jim McNutt, Jr., president and CEO, said the company regretted having to close its regional service centers. “However, the current economic circumstances have forced us to “get leaner” as a company, and this was a very difficult decision that had to be made,” he said in the release.
Canadian customers can expect to receive service support through several of Standard’s authorized Canadian distributors that have qualified service capabilities. The release suggested these customers contact Canadian Regional Sales Manager Paul Thompson for a recommended service distributor close to their area at (514) 502-0124.
Effectively immediately, all U.S. service-related shipments should be directed to the Indianapolis facility located at:
3130 N. Mitthoeffer Road
Indianapolis, IN 46235
800-968-6955
The Regional Sales Managers serving the U.S. and Canada will remain the same, as they will continue to operate within the territories via virtual offices. New contact information will available at the company’s website.
