FOLSOM, CA — The Western Carwash Association (WCA) intends to follow-up the success of the Disney Institute workshop staged at last year’s tradeshow and convention by kicking off this year’s event with “Disney’s Approach to Leadership and Excellent,” a press release reported.
According to the July 28 release, the WCA’s 2010 Convention & Tradeshow will begin on Oct. 11 with the seminar addressing coaching and mentoring goals and objectives in the carwash industry.
The WCA will also present a keynote presentation on Tuesday, Oc. 12, by Jim Rees, chairman of the Nevada Restaurant Association and COO/Partner RUN Restaurants LLC.
“Turn Survive into Thrive” will recount how Rees, a 30-year restaurant veteran, has not only survived, but has thrived during the economic meltdown — opening up two new "Hash House a Go Go” restaurants.
