BRIDGEPORT, NH — The Bridgeport Rescue Mission was short on turkeys, but Splash Carwash stepped in to help out, a press release reported.
The Rescue Mission gives out the turkeys to families in need. This year, they were running short on donations, but Splash Car Wash dropped off 150 frozen turkeys just in time for the holiday.
The turkeys were included in more than 4,000 Thanksgiving dinner pantry boxes and distributed to near-homeless and impoverished families in Bridgeport and South Norwalk, the press release stated.
According to the Splash Carwash Twitter account, the chain is continually helping out and promoting various charities and non-profits.
