BIRMINGHAM, Ala — The end of the year is both a time for reflection and for looking ahead.

If you’re following best business practices, you’ve been tracking your revenue all year to see what business decisions might have affected your profit intake.

Sometimes, though, forces outside of your control, such as weather, natural disasters or a bad economy, can affect your business, but what matters then is how you respond to these influences.

While we at PC&D sincerely hope everyone had a profitable year, sometimes, unfortunately, that is not always the case.

If this year wasn’t as profitable as past years for you, reflect on what happened this year and determine what changes you can make for 2017.

So, how did your carwash business perform in 2016? Let us know by taking the poll below.

Reaching new reclaim heights

There is a lot of variety in the carwash industry. Not only are there different types of washes, but the design, equipment, chemistry, staffing and service can greatly vary from one site to the next. However, there’s one non-negotiable constant in every wash: Water.

Since water — and lots of it — is so essential to this industry, it only makes sense to strive for ways to maximize every single drop. That’s where the reclaim process comes in. Collecting, rehabilitating and reusing as much water as possible is essential to protect the environment, the availability of resources and a carwash’s bottom line. That’s why industry leaders are currently driving innovation to find ways to reclaim even more water than ever.
