LUMBERTON, N.C. — Richard and Stephanie Miller may be the two happiest people when pollen season begins because they know it means big business at their washes, according to robesonian.com.
“When pollen falls, it’s kind of like our Christmas,” he said. “It helps our sales a great bit and the longer it lasts, the better it is. Of course, I’ll admit that I’m a little biased.”

The couple owns four carwashes, and said business can triple at the washes during pollen season. “Snow and pollen will get people cleaning their cars more than anything else,” he said.
The pollen season is important for their washes, because business goes down during the summer, when Richard Miller said people are more likely to wash their cars at home.
