Prestone receives two awards at APPEX 2015

LAKE FOREST, Ill. — Prestone Products Corporation manufactures and markets brake and power steering fluid, antifreeze/coolant and other vehicle maintenance products.

LAKE FOREST, Ill. — Prestone Products Corporation announced it has received two awards at (Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo) AAPEX 2015, according to a press release.

The company received the Best New Product and Best New Packaging awards, stated the release.

AAPEX Buyers voted Prestone Triple Seal Protection Stop Leak as the Best New Product: Chemical, Lubricant & Filters, reported the release.

“AAPEX attendees were highly impressed with the technology and packaging breakthroughs presented by Prestone’s Triple Seal Protection Stop Leak products, which validates the impact these products have on the automotive aftermarket,” said Steven Clancy, president of Prestone, in the release.

Representatives from the Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies (PPMI) awarded the product line with the Best New Packaging Innovation, continued the release.

This recognition is awarded for packaging that demonstrates new ideas, new designs, materials or techniques and reflects important new marketing strategies, added the release.

“The unique, three-compartment packaging system utilizes four custom-molded components and enables enhanced communication of the features and benefits of the products” stated Tom Kalagher, product manager at Prestone, in the release. “The product packaging drives both consumer interest and serves as a communication tool to show the ease and effectiveness of the products.”

Prestone manufactures and markets antifreeze/coolant, brake and power steering fluid as well as other vehicle maintenance products, noted the release.
