LEMONT, IL — Lemont Express Car Wash here reopened after a multi-million dollar makeover that began in July, LemontPatch reported.
The Dec. 23 story stated that the carwash celebrated their site makeover with free carwashes. The renovated wash will be open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day of the year.
Wash prepping for multi-million dollar makeover
Carwash prices at Lemont range from $3 to $15, and for customers that are in a rush Owner Bill Klump recommended the Express Exterior wash.
“It’s faster, better and cheaper,” Klump said in the story. “With our quick pass, you get a sticker in your window, the gate goes up, you stay in your car, go in, no tipping, it’s done – a $3 wash in three minutes. You can keep all your stuff – your iPad, laptop, whatever – with you, and even stay on your phone.”
Carwash owner asks for permission to upgrade
Klump further explained that the best part of the wash, especially in the cold winter, was the “ring of fire.” He said in the story, “We have 11 blow dryers with 105-degree drying temperature. The ring of fire makes your car come out perfectly dry, with no more fear of locks or doors freezing.”
