GREECE, N.Y. — Plans to building a Royal Car Wash have led to some resistance from residents, according to station WHAM.
Craig Ridd is foremost among those who do not want the new location. “I have a LaserWash, a Buckmans Car Wash and a Delta Sonic Car Wash all within minutes of my house, and we really don’t need another carwash in Greece,” he said.

The property, which once housed a church school, is not zoned for a carwash, however Mardanth Enterprises, Inc. has submitted an appeal for a wash at the location.
A public hearing will be held next week to discuss the carwash plans.
