Robber gets into carwash through roof

BOWLING GREEN, KY — This is the third time an attempted burglary has taken place at this location.

BOWLING GREEN, KY — An attempted burglary apparently took place here at the Patriot Carwash between 6 p.m. on Tuesday and 7:50 a.m. the next morning, the Daily News reported.

The March 8 story said the burglar allegedly tried to pry open the front door, but was unsuccessful. He or she then entered the carwash building through the roof and then attempted to open up the doors to the change machines.

Botched robbery costs owner $3,000

There are no surveillance cameras on the property. And, according to the story, this is the third robbery attempt to take place at the carwash in the past six months.
