LUBBOCK, Texas — Racer Classic Car Wash donated $40,000 to the Teen Town and the Family Resource Center at Covenant Children’s Hospital after a 16-month campaign, according KTRE.com.
On the first and third Tuesday of each month, the carwash set aside $1 from each wash to be given to the center, said the article.

The carwash says it will continue the effort to raise money for the hospital at all of its locations, noted the article.
“It is very humbling to be able to present this check and to be a part of such a great organization as Covenant through our partnership with them to raise this money for the teenagers and Children's Center here,” said a spokesperson for the carwash in the article.
