DICKINSON, N.D. — Two high school business partners have begun a detailing business during their summer break from high school, according to Prairie Business.
Hockey teammates Collin Bren, 17, and Kass Dvorak, 18, often work 12-hour days (sometimes more), at X-Stream Detailing picking up, deep cleaning and delivering automobiles.
Bren got the idea for the business last winter when thinking about where to work in the summer, said the article. He was a little nervous about starting the business, but now their customer base has expanded beyond their parents’ friends.
A traveler from Montana even stopped by the shop.
One of their regular customers is the general manager of a local used car dealership, Wade Weidner, who says he is very happy with their work, and that they take care of the details, noted the article.
Bren and Dvorak make time for sports practice while running the business. They plan to go to college after their upcoming senior years to obtain business degrees, according to the article.
The two say they could be long-term business partners.
