NEW YORK ― One of the world's most popular newspapers, The New York Times, recently profiled the Westside Highway Car Wash in its Sunday issue.
The Aug. 26 article talked more about the ambiance and culture of the hand wash business based in the city that never sleeps. The carwash mostly has taxi and car service vehicle drivers as its customers.
"They come at the end of their night, to shake off the grime of a shift spent shepherding charlatans and drunkards and passengers who insist that a taxi must take them to Brooklyn, and they come at the beginning, so their rented Bentleys and BMWs shimmer so brightly that even the nightclub bouncers they will soon encounter cannot help but notice," stated the article, written by Matt Flegenheimer.
