THE BRONX, NY ― Eighty members of the New York State Car Wash Association (NYSCWA) gathered on June 5 for the annual trip to cheer on the Bronx Bombers, according to a press release.
The June 7 press release stated that the game ended with the Yankees beating the Tampa Bay Rays 7-0.
The Association used to go to Citi Field to cheer on the Mets, but decided it was time for a change.
Event Chairperson Mike Benmosche stated in the press release, “We were very lucky to snag a suite and afford our members and guests with the opportunity to see the Yankees play in this awesome stadium. It was really a great day of catching up with fellow operators and experiencing this venue.”
Sponsors of the trip included Simoniz USA, Micrologic, Mang Insurance and Northeast Carwasher magazine.
The Association’s next event will be a meeting in Long Island and will cover Department of Labor rules and regulations.
