TULSA, Okla. — The Fiesta Mart carwash was robbed by a skilled thief using an electronic device to steal money from a change machine, according to Fox 23.
The suspect did not use force to break inside the machine, but he still caused damage. He inserted the device, which caused the money to drop, said the article.
“It does damage to the machine, and those machines are thousands of dollars,” said Sgt. Kurt Dodd, in the article.
Police said the thief seemed experienced. Dodd guessed the man had used the same method at other locations as well.
Surveillance photos were taken of the suspect, and police are asking the public for help identifying the thief.
