MESCALERO, N.M. — The Casino Apache Travel Center now has a carwash on-site, according to the Ruidoso News. The Inn of the Mountain Gods has opened the Casino Apache Soft Touch Car Wash.
In the article, Inn of the Mountain Gods COO Frizzell Frizzell Jr. said the wash is the first in Mescalero. He said it will operate 24/7.
“Even if it’s 3 a.m. you can buy gas and a car wash,” Frizzell said in the article.
The carwash will be open on holidays and in the winter, since the inside will be heated during the colder months, Jonathan Adams, head of Travel Center operation, noted in the article.
Sixty percent of water used is recycled, and water is processed by reverse osmosis, noted the article.
Customers can also use the shampoo and vacuum system.
Depending on the services selected, a wash can cost between $8 and $12. Customers can receive discounts with purchases and Spirit Club cards, stated the article.
