PRESTON, LANCASHIRE, UK – A pair of carwash employees are on trial following their arrests for allegedly living illegally in the United Kingdom.
Sali Siku and Ervis Fana, both 26-years-old were discovered without passports and forged documents, when local police executed a warrant May 9 at a Shiny Car Wash in the city.
Siku, from Albania, has lived in the UK for four and a half years. He possessed a forged Italian driver license when arrested. Siku possessed a fake Greek identification card and has been living in the country for eight months.
According to the Lancashire Evening Post neither men had used the documents to enter the country. It is unclear how long they had been employed at the carwash or whether the owner is facing charges.
