ATLANTA — An 34-year-old man was arrested here for reckless driving and driving while unlicensed after he hit three children at a carwash, examiner.com reported.
The July 23 story stated that Jose Mena drove his 1995 Ford Taurus onto the carwash property on Sunday. “He was not paying attention to where he was going and struck the three children in the parking lot,” police spokeswoman Officer Kim Jones said in the story.
Grady Memorial Hospital’s emergency services transported the three children to a hospital with minor injuries. Police said all three were in stable condition at the hospital late Sunday.
Media reports said the windshield of the car was badly cracked after the accident. Mena was transported to the city of Atlanta jail.
