TYLER, TX — Police arrested a woman who robbed a customer at a carwash here, the SF Gate reported.
Police impersonator robs carwash customer
The Oct. 25 story stated that Jennifer Louise Cowser, 39, was arrested on charges she faked being a police officer by flashing a badge and robbing two men.
The carwash victim stated that the woman showed him a badge then took his wallet and cell phone from his vehicle. Outside a grocery store, the woman displayed the badge and demanded $10 from a man. When he refused to pay her, she stole his wallet.
Police arrest suspect for c-store wash fire
Tyler police charged Cowser with two counts of impersonating a public servant, and her bond was set at $300,000.
