GILROY, Calif. — The city council passed an emergency ordinance to cope with state regulations, according to KION TV.
The ordinance says that “the installation of non-recirculating water systems in commercial carwash and laundry systems is prohibited.”
Residents may not water lawns, gardens, etc. between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., and for no more than 15 minutes during the allowed times.
