ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The Water Environment Federation (WEF) announced the winners of the 2015 StormTV Project competition, according to a press release.
The project, launched in 2012, “recognizes, highlights and promotes the invaluable work of stormwater professionals worldwide” through videos submitted from equipment manufacturers, nonprofit organizations, government entities and consulting firms, stated the release.
More than 35 expert judges reviewed approximately 150 entries, continued the release, and the winning videos were selected based on “message communication and quality as well as content matter and relevance.”
The Australian Car Wash Association’s (ACWA) video, “Stormwater Pollution The Dirty Truth: Home Car Washing,” was selected as the winner of the Public Education Category, informed the release.
This video was recently featured as Professional Carwashing & Detailing’s Video of the Week. You can find this coverage here.
The winners will be honored with a video screening and awards ceremony Sept. 28-29 during the 2015 WEFTEC Stormwater Congress in the Stormwater Pavilion Theater, noted the release.
