NEW YORK — Winter storms ran through the nation’s heartland and are now in the Northeast and Greater Lakes region, according to Weather.com and the New York Times.
The winter storm warnings on Wednesday extend to 77 million Americans. Roads have been said to be in “dangerous shape,” and I-84 in New York State has been shutdown.
Freezing rain impacted areas like Ohio, Maryland and New York City. The rain will become snow as the day progresses.
Upstate New York is expected to be hit with 6 inches of snow on Wednesday.
