ATHENS, GA — A carwash manager here called police to report a break-in, and it appears the group of thieves had a taste for sweets, OnlineAthens reported.
The Sept. 8 story stated that the rear glass door of Crazy Ray’s Express Car Wash and Lube may have been broken with a nearby piece of granite. Surveillance footage showed four or five young males entering the building through the broken door.
According to police, the suspects left the wash but then returned later in the morning to steal all the candy and snacks off of the sales shelf. A box fan was also stolen from the garage.
The police report also revealed that the suspects appeared to be wearing public school uniforms.
