LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Zips Car Wash will now operate carwashes in 15 states with the acquisition of Express Jet Car Wash in Virginia, according to a press release.
With two locations — one in Roanoke and one in Lynchburg — Zips Car Wash plans to continue Express’ legacy of top-of-the-line service and implement the “Zips Way” practices to its newest team members and customers, the release continued.
“We are so excited to move into Virginia,” said Roger Blackstone, regional manager for the eastern region for Zips Car Wash. “Express Jet has run two excellent carwashes, and we are excited to acquire and learn from their teams’ expertise.”
According to the release, the two new Zips Car Wash locations are:
- 4035 Challenger Ave., Roanoke, VA 24012
- 3805 Wards Rd., Lynchburg, VA 24502.
“We will work to rebrand these stores over the coming months but will implement our Unlimited Wash Club program right away,” said Blackstone. “It’s super important this time of year to keep your vehicle cleaned regularly to protect your underbody, paint job and overall life of your investment. Our Unlimited Club makes that affordable and convenient for customers.”
Customers who are members of the Unlimited Wash Club can enjoy these services at any of the 139 Zips Car Wash locations, the release noted.
Zips will expand hours of operation for Virginia customers and offer express services seven days a week, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily; the chain is open year-round with the exception of Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day, the release concluded.
