3M opens 50th car care store in India

NEW DELHI, India — The company was the first to bring organized car care services to the country.

NEW DELHI, India — 3M Car Care recently opened its 50th store in India, according to ETAuto.com.

The location will offer a range of detailing services starting at 990 rupees (about 15 dollars), stated the article.

3M Car Care is part of 3M’s Automotive After Markets Division, noted the article. It was the first company to bring organized car care services to the country.

The facility features a customer lounge with Wi-Fi and air conditioning, reported the article. Patrons can also use tablet PCs to view services offered.

"The opening of 50th store highlights our expertise and growth in this segment,” said Vishesh Nigam, general manager for 3M Car Care, Automotive Aftermarkets Division of 3M India, in the article. “We are bullish on growth and plan to expand to 75 stores by the end of this year with our exhaustive offerings and unique services that will leave their cars looking new, always."

One of the site’s services is an interior car detailing service that removes 99 percent of bacteria from the vehicle’s interior, shared the article. Auto body wraps are also available.
