Crew Carwash breaks ground on its 30th location

INDIANAPOLIS — This will be the 30th Crew Carwash location in Indiana and second in Avon.

INDIANAPOLIS — Crew Carwash, which is featured on our magazine’s Top 50 U.S. conveyor carwash list, is scheduled to break ground on a new location in Avon, Indiana, according to a company press release.

Scheduled to open this winter, added the release, the new facility is located at 7127 E. US 36 and it will be the company’s second location in Avon and 30th in Indiana.

“This is an exciting period of growth for our company, and we are thrilled to add a new location in Avon,” said Bill Dahm, CEO of Crew Carwash. “The facility will feature new advanced technologies that will improve the carwashing experience, and deliver the same award-winning customer service our company is known for.”

According to the press release, the new site will feature several high-tech amenities and the state-of-the-art $5 million facility will also provide customers with a more robust car cleaning experience and self-service dual hose vacuums will be available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The new Avon location will also include LED lighting inside and outside the carwash, advanced soap and detergent delivering technology and an environmentally conscious water reclamation system that cleans and reuses water during certain parts of the washing process, added the release.

In addition, continued the release, the new Crew location will have an exclusive automated lane, allowing customers who have purchased the “Unlimited Washes” monthly plan to bypass traditional lines for a quicker, hassle-free experience.

With this new site, Crew will bring 18 new hires to the Hendricks County facility, which includes both full and part-time positions, explained the release.
