7-Eleven”s Zero Franchise Fee initiative ending soon

DALLAS — The initiative waives the franchise fee for select U.S.-based 7-Eleven convenience stores available for franchise.

DALLAS — The deadline for 7-Eleven Inc.’s Zero Franchise Fee initiative is June 30, according to CSPnet.com.

The initiative waives the franchise fee for select U.S.-based 7-Eleven convenience stores available for franchise, which is a savings of up to $80,000, stated the release.

Across the country, around 250 stores are eligible, reported the release, and 67 stores have been franchised or are currently in the approval process.

The Zero Franchise Fee initiative is available for stores in areas typically with a lower sales volume compared to the national average, continued the release, including: Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas; Manhattan, New York; Baltimore, Maryland; Charlotte, North Carolina; Orlando and Jacksonville, Florida; Portland, Oregon; and Richmond, Virginia.

The franchise process can take five to seven months, noted the release.

“We have had great response from aspiring entrepreneurs who saw a chance to go into business for themselves without the upfront expense of the one-time franchise fee,” said Greg Franks, vice president of franchising systems, in the release. “The Zero Franchise Fee initiative offers the new owner a chance to build a strong customer base and business, while backed by our proprietary systems, processes and ongoing support.”
