Abraham honored with Lifetime Achievement Award

ORLANDO, Fla. — The detailing professional has nearly 30 years of experience in the cosmetic car care industry as an operator, manufacturer and consultant.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Dubbed as the “largest recon show for the appearance repair and reconditioning pro,” the 15th annual international Mobile Tech Auto Recon Expo 2016 convened in Orlando, Florida, last week, according to a press release.

During the two-day expo, the International Detailing Association (IDA) presented industry veteran Bud Abraham with its Lifetime Achievement Award.

According to the company’s website, R.L. “Bud” Abraham, founder and president of DETAIL PLUS Car Appearance Systems, has nearly 30 years of experience in the cosmetic car care industry as an operator, manufacturer and consultant.

The IDA is the leading industry association for professional detailing operators, suppliers and consultants to the industry, as noted on its website. Its mission is “Promoting success and growth of the professional detailing community.”

According to the release, over 400 detailers were in attendance at this year’s expo.
