TASMANIA, Australia — Ian Murcott wasn’t thinking about retirment for “the next three to four years,” before getting an offer by Caltas that was too good to refuse, according to The Advocate.
Murcott may have sold the carwash and station to Caltas, but he still owns the land that these businesses are on.

He also plans on opening a new touchless carwash and service station. "Basically Caltas will build the convenience store and pumps to their specifications, while the carwash would be upgraded to feature the latest touchless washing system,” he said.
The plans for the new carwash and service station were originally drawn up in 1999, and Murcott hopes they will create more jobs in the area.
