EMPORIA, KS ― Water restrictions are being enforced here tomorrow and at-home carwashing will be banned as a result, The Emporia Gazette reported.

The Aug. 21 story said the city has asked residents to elimate all non-essential water usage. Commercial carwashing will still be allowed throughout the city.

Residents will also have to repair all water leaks within the next five days.

First-time offenders will receive a warning. A second offense will equal a $50 fine. After that, offenders will receive a $200 fine and have their water shut off.
